until then here's other home stuff I've been doing...
I heard of this tip some where and thought that it was such a great idea!!!
Sorry, I can't give credit to whom invented it, simply because I forget where I heard it. So here is a great idea...
I hate having food go to waste, but I also hate making extra food to eat as leftovers and then not eating them or stuffing my face and being sick for the cause......so I thought this was genius!!! Simply freeze your eggs that are about to expire, and then once mine are frozen I'm going to dump them into a freezer gallon ziplock bag, and then I can freeze more!!!
Also, I remember when my Daddio first remarried my sweet step mom Debbie, which no longer goes by "step"-cause she much more than that :), but I learned some great recipes.....and tons of yummy sweet treats. and one of them was this....
I made it for my kids the other day, and obviously they were thrilled!!! Who doesn't love pancakes, or chocolate for that matter and when you combine them.....it's divine!!! Another twist on the recipe that I did, was to make pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes!!! I used a pumpkin bar recipe and then just made a few tweaks to the recipe...and they were super yummy, and you don't even have to add the granulated sugar, the chocolate speaks for itself :)
Here is the recipe if you are interested:
mix
4 eggs
2 cups sugar (not really needed, but once I was done making pancakes I had half the recipe leftover so , I just filled a 8x8 square pan and made the pumpkin bars anyways!!
3/4 cup oil,
1- 15 oz can pumpkin,
Sift dry ingredients:
1 1/4 c flour,
3/4 cup pancake mix (I used western family, and I'm sure you can just do 4 cups of normal flour, I was just playing around with the recipe :)
1 tsp baking soda,
2 tsp cinnamon,
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2 tsp. baking powder,
1/2 tsp salt,
1/2 tsp. ginger,
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
add pumpkin mixture.
mix well. Pour onto skillet and sprinkle choc chips on top.
they take a little longer to cook then normal pancakes, grease well!!!
Half of this recipe feeds us a family of 4, So if you want to bake the rest of the recipe for pumpkin bars..... bake for 20-30 minutes.... @ 350 degrees.... It was yummy!!
Pumpkin Bars-or Pumpkin Choc Pancakes
and last but certainly not least.........a continuation of my high school working days. In the summer time I would work with my mom at car dealerships and repair cars. As in we would fix any kind of car interior tear, crack, cig. burn, anything you name it..
we fix it!!!
We even re-dye seats, carpet, dashboards for faded interiors or just interiors that got so could wear and tear on them....so I am spreading the word...I am doing this again and it's been going great!! So if you know of anyone in need of a repair send them my way!!! This is great stuff and it lasts, it's not like some cheap repair kit that you can purchase online in hopes of making your seats look new again!!! This is perfect for our economy right now, no one can really afford to buy brand new, but we all are searching for ways to improve and update what we have!!! So this is the best route!!!

I've heard that Pinterest is addicting! I'm trying to stay away as long as I can. I'll be calling you about our van seat tomorrow or the next day!
