Hello

I always make goals to become better at posting more often on my blog, but I always come up short, sorry. We recently had some exciting things happen to us that I want to share, first of all I ate like a pig on thanksgiving, yum!!! Thanks Mom.. Actually, Jayson got a promotion at work and he will be traveling the world now!!! It'll be once a month for a week, which we'll miss him terribly, but he has always dreamed of doing something like this. About a month or so ago, Jayson's work had a convention and people from several different countries attended, and he got to know some pretty cool people. When he came home that night, he was so excited about their jobs and how they get to travel. Well lo, and behold he gets to do that now!!!! Yea!! He basically will be going to the business' in other countries that are just starting out and he'll be giving them tips and helping them "feel loved" as his boss described it. His boss really felt he was the right fit for the job, since he speaks Portuguese, and a little Spanish, and has such great personality. (I agree, love ya honey ;). so, if everything goes smoothly with his passport he'll be headed to Peru on the 13th, so crazy that it's happening so fast, but we are ecstatic!!! I also took some cute photos of the kids....wish I would've done it sooner for that free offer on greeting cards, instead I used old pics. Either way my Donnie was gold during the photo shoot, and my Lela lately refuses to get her photo taken, hence the grumped face.
Also, some funny things that Lela is saying right now is, "uk, dowt wannit, dross!! (yuck, don't want it, gross!!) It's hilarious, it makes us laugh every time, so now she says it just to be funny, unless there are vegetables in front of her ;). Donnie, is my sweet heart. Lately we've bonded tremendously because one, our red car is now incapacitated and we've been stranded at home, and we canceled our cable, and third I'm practicing more patience with him. Honestly, when I nag him he becomes a tiger to work with, but when I never raise my voice to him, he almost always minds me, even if it does mean going to time out, and he apologizes afterward. In the beginning I thought we were all going to go nuts....literally nutty!!! It has been good for us though!!! I will have to say that I do miss going to the gym everyday, that was my outlet, so I'll be excited to start going again. Other than that, finals are approaching and it'll be one more semester under my belt and one step closer to accomplishing my goal, my degree!! Yea!! I'll get it someday....
