I once painted in high school, since then I haven't found time to really start painting again. One Sunday, I escaped out onto our back balcony and left the kids inside with Jayson, blasted music through my head phones and painted. It was so therapeutic and amazing, I felt great afterwards!! This is the result of my venting through art. I realized that I really lean towards abstract art like Jamie Dee. I'm curious to know what you think of it.

Paintings

Cool, Shan! I'm so glad to see posts! I can't believe how big both of your kids look. And how perfectly fun that you re-realized how much you love making art. Way to go!
Looks a little fishy - ok, so that was my first impression, I like the colors too! Funny how nice it can be to escape and create!
I didn't know you were into painting. Cool! I'm so not a visual arts person so I admire anyone that has any interest in it and can even remotely do it. My first reaction to the painting was a very artistic bowl of noodles, but then again I just got back from a bike ride and I'm starving. It's way cool!
