Who says being poor can't be delicious!!

Ever feel like you're poor and all you want is some chocolate, but your at the end of your paycheck and you really should be buying the essentials instead of junk food?? No? well I did today, and I wanted chocolate so bad.....insanely bad!!! what is my problem? I don't know!!! I swear its mainly because I didn't have any treats in the house, and so I wanted what I couldn't have....lol. Typical human. So, on with the story....I wanted muddy buddies, but I didn't have chocolate to melt, so I made some bittersweet chocolate from the recipe off of my cocoa powder can (3 Tbsp cooca, 1 Tbsp oil, stir. It was too bittersweet to eat for me, so I mixed in 3 Tbsp of powdered sugar and Wah La!! Yummy chocolate!! So I mixed that with a 1/2 c peanut butter, melted it and poured it over my Chex cereal. Once mixed, I dumped maybe a 1/2 c powdered sugar, and my sweet tooth was very satisfied!! Who says being poor can't be delicious!! LOL Take that you sorry excuse for a paycheck!!! HA HA... Thought you could fool me!! Ok, I'm done..

My Taylee Paige is getting soo big!! She is saying new words every day. Her most recent words were "Fly, Cheese, Puppy, Kitty & Meow" It is so fun hearing her tiny voice. It's amazing how she always has me on the edge of my seat waiting for her to say more words...she's got me wrapped around her finger....and I love it. :) Taylee also loves to be outside, she'll stand next to the door and say, "yid" for outside.... she loves her big brother and sister. Donovan makes her laugh and Kaleah is like a second mother to her. Its sweet to watch them interact. I'm so grateful for these sweet spirits that we've been blessed with...

Girls Day at the Pool/ Boys day fishing!!

Last Saturday Jayson took Donovan on a boys fishing trip with Grandpa Mortenson. He caught his first fish in the first 10 minutes of casting out!! He was sooo excited!! I will have to post that photo once I steal it off Jaysons phone. They went to Scolfield (spelling?)and they usually catchat least 11-15 fish each time. My friend Ashley told me about fishing there, and the boys haven't been sorry to hear that tip, ;D. They normally go to Payson Lakes, but the fishing is more sparse then ever...so onto our new spot!! Kaleah also wanted to do something special, so us girls packed up our beach gear and went to 7 peaks. They have these great passes that are super cheap that allows us to go all year for a one-time fee, which is awesome!!! So, us girls went swimming, first we went to the lazy river (Kaleah's favorite) and then onto the wave pool. We tried out the kiddy pool but it was sooo hot and full of chlorine!!! I rubbed my eyes once, and they burned for the next half hour, ouch! Once we made it back to the lazy river into the cold river, to rinse my eyes out, life was good again. All in all it was a very good day! Next time we'll all go fishing, which will be fun!!

Friend or Foe

July 6, 2012 ~Friend or Foe~ These two are quite the pair. Their either hiding behind the couch giggling or fighting about who gets to sit on the stuffed unicorn.... At times I wonder if they'll ever stop fighting!!! Yet, on the on the other hand, they're making nice and playing....I guess that's what you get when you are a sibling. I remember growing up with my brothers and sisters and it was the same story. I cherish all the memories I have growing up. You never realize how quickly it'll pass you by, and then your all grow up with kiddos of my own... its crazy, but great!! I sure do love these kids and baby Tay. Its fun to watch the relationship growing between her and her brother and sister... they adore this little cheeky girl!! She is quite the sassy/squeaky girl. She makes life quite exciting. The other day she actually bit Kaleah!! Kaleah was coaxing her from going out of our yard and it ticked Tay off! So, she pulled Kaleah's arm towards her and bit it!! I've never had a baby bite this young before....it was so naughty!! I had to turn my head, and hide my smile!! Its not funny, and I know that but it was just funny to watch Tay try to stop Kaleah from pulling her back into the yard. I obviously disciplined her once I gained composure. I knew that if she saw my smile then she would start biting all the time!!! What a little Turkey!!
